K & J Transport started in 1989 with a small wallet and a 6-wheel 1979 International Acco truck. At the time, we worked as hard as we could — starting out at the beginning of one of Australia's toughest recessions made us acutely aware that if you don't work hard and look after your machinery and customers, you will not succeed.
Those early lessons shaped everything about how we operate. More than 35 years on, we're still going strong — and dare we say, still growing.
Today we run late-model machinery capable of completing a larger scope of work, but we're still small enough to give a personalised service second to none. We're proud to be looking after many of the same clients we've had for over 21 years, while always welcoming new ones.
Over the years, K & J Transport has successfully completed some of Perth's most demanding logistics projects. One standout example: we carted 100,000 cubic metres of fill sand from Heathridge to Jandakot for a subdivision — deploying 4 loaders, 25 trucks of all configurations, compaction machines, water carts, and a scraper.
The demands of projects like that have led us to build ongoing relationships with the same clients — and their referrals continue to bring new work our way.
